We Believe in Second Chances
Our Why
My Way Out was created from the entrepreneurial vision of two Latinx justice-impacted individuals who initially designed a technology platform with local impact and national implications to resolve barriers to employment and then expanded their vision to include a nonprofit, 501( c )3 organization to empower and enrich the lives of justice-impacted individuals.
My Way Out leaders, program participants, and community stakeholders all subscribe to the belief that ‘each individual’s mistakes do not define who they are but what they do afterward.’ My Way Out brings together a racially diverse community of resources, supportive service providers, and employers. By reducing recidivism, building strong communities, and keeping families together, MWO brings hope and prosperity to marginalized communities.
Our Mission
To empower and enrich the lives of justice-impacted individuals, by bringing together community resources, supportive service providers, and employers. By reducing recidivism, building strong communities, and keeping families together, we will help bring hope and prosperity to marginalized communities.
Our Vision
A world where all justice-impacted individuals, families, and communities can prosper and thrive due to lower incarceration rates, the strengthening of family bonds, and the educating of our youth about our criminal justice system.
